Rep. Sara Wojcicki Jimenez (R-Leland Grove) issued a warning to the House floor.
“This is the Grant Middle School track and field team seventh-graders,” Wojcicki Jimenez said at the May 25 House floor debate during her point of personal privilege. “They won the state championship this year.”
Five of the teammates also won the state basketball tournament, she added proudly.

“To all the members of the General Assembly, these guys are coming for your schools,” Wojcicki Jimenez said.
After asking the House to congratulate the winners, Wojcicki Jimenez welcomed her district champs to the Capitol, and they received a loud round of applause from House members.
