State Representative Michael Coffey (IL) | Representative Michael J. Coffey, Jr. (R) 95th District
Rep. Coffey recently held a Pet Adoption Event at Papa Frank’s in Springfield, where several pets found new homes. "I want to thank everyone who stopped by the Pet Adoption Event at Papa Frank’s! Several pets have been adopted and will start to settle in their new home today and have comfort with their new family," said Rep. Coffey.
He also expressed gratitude towards the Animal Protective League, Tom Marantz, and Bank of Springfield for their support in making the event special for families in the 95th District.
In another initiative, Rep. Coffey hosted a pizza party for children in the 95th District who completed his Summer Reading Program. Elementary students were encouraged to read eight books over the summer to enhance their reading skills. This marks the second year of this program, with plans already underway for next year's edition. "View photos from the event!" he added.
