The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has announced its annual All-Region award recipients, with Julia Drake earning a spot on the First Team. Drake's performance for the Lady Blues this season was notable, tying for first in the IC school record books with a 1.01 ERA and ranking second all-time with 162 strikeouts in a single season. She also led the Midwest Conference (MWC) in these categories, as well as in innings pitched at 124.2. Her achievements earned her the title of MWC Pitcher of the Year.

This year's NFCA Division III All-Region teams include 373 student-athletes from 174 schools. The awards recognize student-athletes from ten regions, with selections made to one of three teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and vote for winners within their respective regions. All honorees will be considered for selection to the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced on May 31.
