The Illinois College men's and women's track and field teams concluded their 2023 season at the Augustana Midwest Twilight Meet in Rock Island, Illinois. A select group of athletes represented the college in this final event.
For the Lady Blues, Kristina Hilmes participated in two events. She recorded a time of 1:09.09 in the 400-meter hurdles and 16.19 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles. Lakeida Nichols also competed, finishing the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.73 seconds.
On the men's side, Deon Rodgers led with his performance in the discus, achieving a mark of 148 feet and 10 inches (45.36 meters). Jackson Lee cleared a height of 13 feet and 6.25 inches (4.12 meters) in the pole vault, marking a standout performance for him. Tracy Slater completed IC's participation with an impressive run in the 100-meter dash, clocking a time of 11.63 seconds.
This meet marked the end of Illinois College's outdoor track and field season for 2023.
