Illinois College esports team suffers first loss in MEC Valorant match

JACKSONVILLE, Ill - The Illinois College Esports team faced a setback in their recent MEC Valorant match against Pratt Community College. Despite entering the competition with a 3-0 record, Illinois College was defeated with a score of 0-2.

The defeat alters Illinois College's standing to 3-1 in the MEC Valorant schedule.

In terms of individual performance, Dwight Duijneveld from Pratt Community College recorded 23 kills, while Jose Izaguirre-Gomez managed only 3 kills. Noah Horsman achieved a notable KDA of 1.35 and an ACS of 263. Ekko Nguyen and Sonny Zeynalov also contributed to Pratt's victory with their respective performances.

Illinois College will look to recover as they prepare for another MEC Valorant match against Anderson University on Friday, October 11th at 7:00 pm.
