The Illinois College Esports team faced Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in a competitive MEC OW2 match on Monday night. The match concluded with a 3-0 victory for VCU, marking a setback for Illinois College (IC) as their season record now stands at 2-2.
In terms of individual performance, Dwight Duijneveld recorded three kills, two assists, and suffered 19 deaths. He achieved a KDA ratio of 0.26 with 8,980 damage and contributed 116 in healing. Noah Horsman had five kills, five assists, and experienced 13 deaths. His KDA was noted at 0.77 alongside dealing out 11,569 damage.
Lucas Schultz managed one kill and four assists while encountering 15 deaths, resulting in a KDA of 0.33 and dealing 8,475 damage. Illinois College is set to compete again this Thursday against Pratt Community College in another MEC OW2 match scheduled for October 10th at 7:00 p.m.
