Illinois College e-sports team loses to Simpson in Rocket League

Illinois College's E-Sports team faced a challenging match against Simpson College in the MVEC Rocket League, ending with a 4-1 defeat. The event took place on Tuesday, where Simpson College showcased their skills and improved their record to 4-1 for the season, while Illinois College fell to 1-3.

The match scores were as follows: Simpson won the first game 5-1, secured a close victory in overtime during the second game with a score of 1-0, dominated the third game 7-1, and although Illinois College managed to win the fourth game 4-3, Simpson clinched the final game 4-1.

Simpson College players Glenn Conway and Dwight Duijneveld delivered notable performances. Conway contributed three goals and one assist across the games, while Duijneveld scored four goals and provided two assists. Kieran Powers also made an impact with one assist.

Illinois College is set to face Buena Vista University in their next MVEC Rocket League match on Tuesday, November 5th at 7:00 pm.
