The Illinois College Esports team has received recognition from the Midwest Varsity Esports Conference (MVEC) for their performances in the fall season. Julian Luaders, a freshman from Fowler, Illinois, was selected for the Second Team All-Conference due to his performance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (SSBU). Luaders ended the season with 36 knockouts and 17 falls, maintaining a knockout-to-fall ratio of 2.1. He competed against other schools' second-ranked players and dropped points only once during the season while using Mewtwo against Cornell College.

Jake Petrovich, a junior from Carlinville, Illinois, was awarded MVP honors for SSBU within the conference and was named to the First Team All-Conference. Petrovich faced top-ranked opponents in every match and recorded 36 knockouts with 19 falls. Playing as Marth, he remained undefeated throughout the season without dropping any points and achieved two clean sweeps.
