The Illinois College clay target team secured a ninth-place finish at the 2025 Fall National Championships, which took place in Bunker Hill, Illinois, over the weekend. The event featured 20 teams and 235 competitors from across the country.
Illinois College achieved a combined score of 925 points to earn its spot in the top ten.
Team members collected several individual honors in various categories. Adam Stuckemeyer finished 27th in the high gun male gold category with a score of 188. In the gold female category, Morgan Tracey ranked tenth with a score of 186, Hannah Hopper was thirteenth with 184, Ann Feldhake placed fifteenth also with 184, and Aurora Baker finished twenty-fourth with 179.
Andrew Magnus reached sixth place in the high gun silver male category by hitting 183 targets. In the high gun silver female category, Korina Hecht led Illinois College with a fourth-place finish and a score of 178. Reece Winebrinner placed thirteenth with a score of 170, while Delaney Teno came nineteenth with a score of 162.
The championship concluded with two Annie Oakley elimination competitions: one for student-athletes and one for coaches. In the student-athlete division, Stuckemeyer took second place out of more than two hundred participants. For coaches, Jim Davidsmeyer finished fourth out of twenty-one competitors.
