The Illinois College Rocket League team secured a 4–1 series victory over Bradley University in NECC competition on Tuesday night in Jacksonville, Illinois. The Blueboys opened the match with three consecutive wins, posting scores of 7–1, 3–1, and 1–0. After dropping Game 4 by a score of 2–3, the team responded with a decisive 5–0 win in Game 5 to close out the series.
Lucas Barry set a new program record during the match by becoming the first player in Illinois College history to score double-digit goals in a single series, finishing with ten goals. Glenn Conway contributed two goals and led the team with five assists. Dwight Duijneveld added six goals and two assists.
With this win, Illinois College improved its season record to 4–2. The result puts the team in position to qualify for the upcoming NECC Playoffs with one regular season match remaining.
