St. John's Hospital Springfield Illinois issued the following announcement on Nov. 28.
HSHS St. John's Hospital put on a tactical combat casualty care drill as part of a multiple-day course for first responders. There were a total of 37 students for the course including 13 from Springfield Fire Department, five from Springfield Police Department, two emergency department nurses, two from Peoria Police Department and one from Brighton Police Department. The majority of the volunteers were colleagues from St. John's. Thanks to all who participated in this important drill!
