Last week in Springfield was a bustling one with various activities happening at the Capitol. Among the events were sessions, committee meetings, and visits that added excitement to the week.

Representative Mike Coffey shared some highlights of the week, including the presence of two high school seniors who accompanied him for a day. He mentioned, "I had two Pages with me for a day: Harrison Gray is a Senior at Springfield High School and a student representative for District 186 school board. Ian Klockenga is a Senior at Rochester High School and helped the Rochester Varsity Football team win the Class 4A State Championship."

Additionally, Coffey expressed his pleasure in meeting Jaque Bogner, the executive director of Concordia Village, acknowledging her dedication to enhancing the quality of life for seniors. He stated, "I was happy to visit with the executive director of Concordia Village last week. Jaque Bogner has done an excellent job being a leader who promotes enhancing the quality of life for seniors."

Furthermore, the representative proudly introduced his new Chief of Staff, Madison Devlin, emphasizing her readiness to contribute to the team's success. He said, "I’m proud to introduce my new Chief of Staff, Madison Devlin! Madison will be a great addition to our dynamic team and she is ready to get to work!" He also extended a warm welcome to the IL House Republican Staff.
