The Midwest Conference has announced the latest recipients of its weekly awards for men's and women's swimming. Nathen Trachta and Jenna Kenning have been recognized as MWC Performers of the Week.
Trachta delivered a remarkable performance at the IC Quad Meet Invite. He secured first place in the 100-yard IM, setting a new school record with a time of 57.35 seconds. Additionally, he claimed victory in the 50-yard backstroke with a time of 26.20 seconds and earned second place in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing in 23.13 seconds.
Jenna Kenning also made her mark at the IC Quad Meet Invite over the weekend. She won first place in the 50-yard breaststroke, clocking in at 34.94 seconds, and took second place in the 100-yard IM with a time of 1:05.59.
Both teams are scheduled to compete next at Illinois Wesleyan University on Friday, January 20th, at 6:00 PM.
