The Midwest Conference has released its list of Academic All-Conference recipients for the 2021-22 academic year, recognizing a total of 1,469 student-athletes. Among them, Illinois College contributed 173 student-athletes to this honor roll.
To qualify as an Academic All-Conference selection, athletes must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.33, earned a varsity letter, and been enrolled at their institution for the entire academic year.
Illinois College's football team led with 30 student-athletes named to the list. Men's soccer followed with 19 honorees, while women's soccer and women's basketball each had 18 representatives.
A detailed breakdown by sport reveals numerous multi-sport athletes included in each relevant category. The comprehensive list features names across baseball, football, men's and women's basketball, cross country, track & field (indoor and outdoor), soccer, swimming & diving, tennis, softball, volleyball, and more.
