Haley Garrett and Morgan Carrino secured victories for the Illinois College women's track and field team during their outdoor debut at the WashU Quad in St. Louis. Garrett won the 200 meters with a time of 26.51, while Mattie Brown followed in fourth place at 26.85.
Carrino triumphed in the 3,000 meters, finishing with a time of 11:49.07. Kairy Mercado-Ramos came third in this event with a time of 12:27.17.
In the 100 meters, Deja Anderson achieved second place with a time of 12.40, and Brown was close behind in third place at 12.60.
Other notable performances included Aleese Trimingham's third-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles (16.33), Sydney Kuper's third-place finishes in both the discus (37.70 meters) and hammer throw (46.40 meters), and Keyleigh Thomas' third place in the javelin (30.44 meters).
The team also saw success in relays, with the quartet of Brown, Brooke Oakley, Garrett, and Anderson securing third place in the 4x100 meter relay by clocking a time of 48.79.
