Illinois College men's soccer team defeats Fontbonne University with a decisive win

The Illinois College Blueboys men's soccer team secured a 3-0 victory against Fontbonne University on Wednesday night in Clayton, Missouri. This win improves their season record to 2-1.

Reed Rogers scored the first goal for Illinois College in the 12th minute, giving them an early lead that they maintained through halftime. Tyler Lunning added to the score with a goal in the 67th minute. Sam Blair further solidified the team's win with a goal assisted by Albert Nimako in the 83rd minute.

Goalkeeper TJ Esseily contributed to the team's success by achieving a shutout victory.

The Blueboys are set to play against Simpson College on Friday, September 8th at 5:00 PM.
