State Representatives Mike Coffey and Wayne Rosenthal, in collaboration with Toys for Tots, are encouraging the public to contribute to their holiday toy drive. The initiative aims to provide new unwrapped toys for children in need during the holiday season.
Individuals interested in participating can drop off their gifts at the representatives' office located at E-1 Stratton Office Building, 401 S. Spring Street, Springfield, IL 62706. Donations will be accepted until December 20.
For those unable to visit in person, online contributions can be made through the Toys for Tots website: https://sangamon-county-il.toysfortots.org/.
"Help a child in need this holiday season!" said the representatives, highlighting the importance of community involvement in making the holidays special for children.
