State Representative Mike Coffey has announced his committee assignments for the 104th General Assembly. Coffey expressed his enthusiasm about the upcoming legislative session, stating, “I’m eager to move forward in the 104th General Assembly with my Committee Assignments that impact every community in Illinois. My priority is to work collaboratively with my colleagues and be proactive in finding solutions that will improve policy and services.”

In addition to his legislative duties, Coffey has introduced a new initiative called "Mike on Main Street" business tours. This effort aims to connect directly with businesses and workers within the 95th District. Through these tours, Coffey seeks to gain insights into their needs and challenges, which he hopes will help him advocate for improvements in the business climate across Illinois.

Coffey represents Illinois’ 95th House District, which encompasses parts of Sangamon County, including portions of Springfield and the Villages of Chatham and Rochester, as well as areas within Macon and Christian Counties.
