The Illinois College women's swimming team began their participation in the 2025 Midwest Conference Championships with the finals of the 800-yard freestyle relay. The event took place on Thursday at the Russell K. Osgood Pool and Deck/Natatorium in Grinnell, Iowa.
The Lady Blues team, consisting of Alyssa Piper, Delaney Goddard, Abby Stevens, and Abbey Glaser, achieved a seventh-place finish with a time of 8:47.68. This performance marked the fifth-fastest time recorded in the program's history.
The team is set to continue competing as the championships proceed on Friday and Saturday.
