David Seering, Head E-Sports | Illinois College Blue Boys & Lady Blues Esports
The Illinois College Esports team has completed its Overwatch 2 fall season after competing in the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC). The team faced two opponents this past week, losing 0-3 to the University of Nebraska Omaha and narrowly missing a win against Illinois State University with a 2-3 result.
According to the team, "Despite the tough results, the squad showed steady improvement throughout the semester and will look to build on that progress heading into the spring season."
Illinois College's Overwatch team is scheduled to return for their next match on Tuesday, January 27th, when they will compete against Cornell College at 7:00 p.m.
