Today marks the beginning of the fall legislative veto session for the Illinois House of Representatives. The session, which starts on November 12th, is set to run over two weeks, with a break before resuming on November 19th.

House Republicans are pushing for progress on several key issues that were not resolved in the spring. These include ethics reform, public safety measures, and ongoing concerns related to public transit.

Illinois residents have the opportunity to follow the proceedings live through ilga.gov when the session begins at 3:00 p.m. today.
