The Greater Springfield, Illinois Chamber of Commerce (GSCC) will be holding a job fair on April 7.
Anyone seeking a job is invited to attend, including new job seekers in high school, college students and professionals. The chamber also invites businesses throughout Sangamon County and Central Illinois to make an appearance.
The chamber states that many large companies in the area have confirmed that they will be represented at the fair.
Interested businesses are encouraged to register for booth space by calling the chamber at 217-525-1173. This opportunity is open to both members and non-members of the GSCC. The chamber also notes that this event will allow those looking to hire people the ability to screen many potential candidates.
This job fair is scheduled to take place at the Wyndham City Center (the Hilton Downtown) at 700 East Adams St. in Springfield. The event will be taking place between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Lincoln Land Community College and Express Employment Professionals are sponsoring the event.
