The Illinois College Lady Blues volleyball team secured a 3-1 victory over Beloit College in a Midwest Conference match held Saturday at Flood Arena in Beloit, Wisconsin. The set scores were 25-12, 25-20, 24-26, and 25-21.
With this win, Illinois College improved its overall record to 10-19 and holds a 5-2 mark in conference play. Beloit fell to 5-21 overall and remains winless in the conference at 0-8.
The Lady Blues were led by Riley Drake, who recorded a match-high 14 kills. Haylie Orton contributed with 11 kills. Summer Brandis provided 25 assists while Kahli O'Neal added another 23 assists for Illinois College.
On defense, Drake also led with a match-high of 15 digs. Mady Salisbury supported the effort with an additional 12 digs.
Illinois College will conclude its regular season next week with an away game against Lawrence University in another Midwest Conference matchup. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
